At the book "I WANT TO FLY" - Lucy tells the difficulties that had to be a professional in the Commercial Aviation. The 2nd. Book, "THE HISTORY OF PHILIPPE PINEL", it is the biography of her illustrious ancestor, scientist that revolutionized the mental diseases treatment. The "PROHIBIT FLIGHT" is an impressive and truth testimony based on honest and profound historical search. Regarding to vicissitudes of woman pilot, it is a report continuation of the 1st book.
It was written in a simple and correct language, without literary pretension, it is a respectable work and deserves careful reading.
We recommend to the colleagues, the reading of this truth portrait, even if partial of the Brazilian aviation.

At the book "I WANT TO FLY" - The portrait of a preconception, we have the narrative of pungent experience of a woman, who decided to become professional pilot, taking risks.
Lucy L�pia pilot, with her unusual attitude, challenged the work organization at the aeronautic sector, that was structured for the men, reserving to the women, the activities simpler, said less noble, like the air Stewart or airport attendants.
This courageous pilot proved that the women can be equal to the men, at the command of a control lever and the existing differences at the work quality does not exist, only in the preconceptions minds. For that, she suffered enough by her audacity. Her book is a message of faith at the women capacity, when put on situations of professional competition with the men. It is a work that I recommend the reading.
Reading and understanding the Captain Lucy's effort, the men left their preconceptions and accepting a reality, that cannot leave to be seen at this satellite era and the airplanes commanded by computers.

The title "PROHIBIT FLIGHT", is extremely suggestive. I will read it soon and taste the aviation histories that, as in "I WANT TO FLY", describe very well.
Taking a look, I could realize the reading will be very interesting.
I remember well from the 70th decade, when you bended the Lider and Top uniforms, and frequented the airports. People as you, who preserve the aviation memory and it makes it exciting, enjoyed and, over all, challenger.

Dear friend Captain Lucy,
Your courageous and determination I have already known from long time, since when we practiced mountain climbing in the old Excursionist Center Pico de Itatiaia. Courageous people, with your moral characteristics are that constitute the history of a nation and always be mentioned by good people, as for example, to educate the youngest people. People like you will always have the ways blocked for those are mediocre, they will feel jealous of your magnitude and they will look for, through the arbitrariness, impeach you reach the success. They cut your wings, but they did not get avoid your name was put definitely in the History of our aviation as a Pioneer Woman of Commercial Aviation. The history will eternally speak about you, it will not speak of them, the History does not speak of the cowards. Look at the History and it says actually, as heroes, a hundred persons that were pursued by authorities. You are lucky, because you live in our century, if you had lived in passed centuries, certainly you would have been hanged like Tiradentes, who is nowadays the greatest national hero.
Lucy, you have the respect from the worthy people of this country, your book "PROHIBIT FLIGHT" is a legate for the Brazilian Aviation History and it will be certainly criticized by persons, who continued to insist to do that the truths do not appear and, in spite of all that dishonor, badness and nullity that exists, detaining the power, I know you will always follow ahead, idealist, courageous, of raised head, without having afraid or ashamed to be honest.
